Function Bone Health is NOT a healthcare provider, medical clinic, medical practice, hospital, diagnostic center, laboratory, pharmacy, or any form of licensed medical or clinical facility. We are a wellness education and screening center providing general wellness information and access to screening technology for educational purposes.

Our bone health assessments use REMS (Radiofrequency Echographic Multi Spectrometry) technology manufactured by Echolight S.p.A. This technology is FDA-cleared under 510(k) K213854 as a screening tool.
REMS assessments are screening measurements, NOT medical diagnoses. The output of a REMS assessment — including but not limited to bone density values, T-scores, quality indicators, fragility score estimates, and fracture risk estimates — are numerical measurements and data points generated by the screening device. We provide screening reports as generated by the Echolight device. We do not alter, modify, or clinically interpret these reports. Any explanation of screening data provided by our staff is general educational information, not clinical interpretation.
No screening technology is 100% accurate. Results may be affected by body composition, positioning, device calibration, operator technique, individual physiological variations, and other factors. A single screening does not provide a comprehensive picture of your bone health, and results should be considered alongside clinical evaluation by your healthcare provider.
Function Bone Health operates its REMS screening services under a Screen My Bones license. This license grants Function Bone Health and Strength Lab Plus authorization to provide REMS screening services using Screen My Bones protocols.
Screen My Bones is a separate and independent entity. It is not affiliated with, owned by, a subsidiary of, a parent company of, or a partner of BioX Unlimited LLC, Function Bone Health, or Strength Lab Plus. The Screen My Bones license does not extend to any other entity or provider. Any claims, disputes, or liabilities related to Screen My Bones as an entity are solely the responsibility of Screen My Bones and not of Function Bone Health.

BioDy body composition analysis and any other body composition assessments offered by Function Bone Health are screening tools providing measurements for educational reference. These assessments do not diagnose any medical condition and are not substitutes for clinical body composition evaluation.
